Creating healthier, happier lives
My goal is to help make it easy for people to create healthy, happy and balanced lives. I love being able to motivate and inspire people to eat well and take better care of themselves through the work that I do and by living my life as an example.
I was born and raised in the UK where studied Dietetics at Leeds Met University and also became a fitness instructor. I moved to New Zealand in 2005 to pursue my dream of helping people to help themselves in relation to their health and well-being and now work here at as NZ Registered Nutritionist.
After initially working in a health education role for Diabetes New Zealand, I was encouraged to set out and pursue private practice for myself, so I set up Mission Nutrition from my living room – and look how it turned out?! I am thrilled and feel very privileged to be doing a job I absolutely love and making a difference in the world.
Outside of work I am very lucky to have a beautiful (and busy) 4-year-old and a darling baby boy who arrived in November 2017! I love walking, yoga and hitting the gym. Camping, skiing and tramping are highlights of mine (when I find the time?!) – along with spending as much time as I can with my awesome friends and family.
