findWellness Reset is a 14-week course, designed to support you and your whanau to build helpful habits and create a healthy and more balanced life. With support from Jess, Pip and Ellie, we hope you and your whānau will feel healthier, bringing balance to your hauora and oranga.

  • Once we receive your referral from nib, our team will be in touch within 48 hours to confirm your details and arrange your first coaching session. Your personalised programme start date is then set with your coach - this is usually within 2–3 weeks of your referral being received.

  • This program is suitable for anyone wanting to improve their overall wellbeing - including eating habits, energy, sleep, and stress levels. It’s ideal for busy professionals, parents, and anyone ready to create healthier routines that work in real life.

    If you struggle with emotional eating, overeating, or self-sabotaging your efforts, this program can definitely help.

    You’ll learn practical tools to understand your habits, manage emotional triggers, and build a more positive, guilt-free relationship with food - all with expert support along the way.

  • Around 45 minutes to 1 hour each week is all you’ll need. This includes reading the weekly emails, attending your coaching session (on scheduled weeks), using your findWellness planner, completing weekly planning tasks, and trying out small changes or challenges in your everyday life. It’s designed to be manageable - even with a busy schedule.

  • You’ll have six one-to-one sessions with a qualified New Zealand Registered Dietitian or Nutritionist – starting with a 1-hour session, followed by five 30-minute check-ins. These are held online via video call and scheduled at times that suit you. We’ll email you a video link for each appointment.

    During your sessions, you’ll work through your goals, track progress, and receive personalised support every step of the way.

  • Our focus is to empower you with the knowledge and tools to make the right choices for yourself - this is what creates long-term change and healthy habits that stick. You’ll learn how to eat to your appetite and build a healthier relationship with food, without restrictive diets or weighing your meals. While a very prescriptive meal plan might sound appealing, research shows it’s not the most effective way to change eating habits - so it’s not something we offer.

  • No problem - life happens! You can reschedule coaching sessions by contacting your coach. To cancel your programme, please get in touch with the findWellness team directly.

  • In many cases, yes - especially as your coach is a qualified health professional. However, we recommend checking with the nib Insurance team, your GP or specialist before starting if you have a complex or serious medical condition.

  • Each week focuses on a different theme designed to support long-term wellbeing - from eating habits and emotional eating to sleep, stress, hydration, movement, and more. You’ll learn practical strategies, backed by science, that help you make sustainable changes in real life.

  • No - your place in the findWellness Reset programme is fully funded by nib. There are no costs for you to participate.

  • Yes - this programme works extremely well for people who are currently using weight-loss medication or exploring whether it’s the right option for them.

    If you are on weight-loss drugs, we can support you to:

    • Ensure you’re getting the nutrients your body and brain need

    • Reduce muscle loss, which is a common issue

    • Manage side-effects, including gut health challenges

    • Build long-term habits around sleep, nutrition, and movement that medication alone can’t create

    This programme also helps you maintain your weight loss beyond medication. Without sustainable lifestyle changes in the background, many people regain weight once they stop taking these drug. Our goal is to prevent that by helping you build habits that last.

    If you’re still unsure about whether medication is right for you, our experienced coaches can talk this through with you during the programme. They’ll help you explore whether it may be appropriate based on your history, circumstances, and personal situation - without pressure or judgment.

  • All coaching sessions are run remotely, so you can join from wherever suits you best. Most sessions are done via video call, which allows for a more personal and interactive experience, but phone calls are also available if that’s more comfortable or convenient for you.
