GLP-1 Support Programme

Your success on GLP-1 medication starts here

If you’re looking to start, or are already taking, GLP-1 weight loss medication such as Wegovy, Saxenda or Ozempic, our 12-month support programme is designed to help you get the best possible results - both now and long term.

We will help you nourish your body so you can feel your best, manage the side effects of the medication, preserve your muscle mass and build healthy habits that last - so you can not only lose weight, but maintain your results, feel stronger, and stay in control of your health long after the medication.

You can join whether your medication has been prescribed by your GP, through a specialist or a private clinic.

Why support matters on GLP-1 medication

GLP-1 medications can be a helpful tool for some people. They may reduce appetite, quiet food noise, and help you feel fuller sooner. But they are not a quick fix.

When appetite drops, it can become easy to:

  • eat too little and become malnourished

  • struggle to get enough protein

  • have digestive issues

  • get dehydrated

  • lose muscle

  • feel flat, fatigued or irritable

  • struggle to sleep

  • miss key nutrients which will affect your energy and ability to function as well as cause issues for both your short- and long-term health

  • develop a disordered relationship with food

Plus, many people experience a vast array of side effects that make the process harder than expected.

This is where many people come unstuck.

At findWellness, we are here to make this process better for you because done right so you can get the benefits of these drugs, without so many of the downsides.

Whether you plan to stay on medication longer term, or use it as a reset, we help you build the structure, knowledge and habits needed to get the best outcome either way.

How we support you

  • We provide practical strategies to help manage nausea, constipation, diarrhoea, low appetite and digestive discomfort so you can feel better, stay consistent, and get the most out of the medication.

  • This is absolutely essential.

Muscle plays a critical role in your overall health, strength, and metabolism. It is a highly metabolically active tissue, meaning it helps your body burn energy more efficiently.

During weight loss, especially with reduced appetite, it is very easy to lose a significant amount of muscle if protein intake and strength training are not prioritised. On GLP1 medication, it can be up to 45%!

If too much muscle is lost, and you later come off the medication, you may find it harder to maintain your weight and more likely to regain fat quickly.

We help you protect your muscle, so you don’t just lose weight, you stay strong, functional, and metabolically supported.

  • We guide you on incorporating strength training and movement in a way that works for you.

This is a key part of protecting muscle, maintaining strength, and supporting long-term results.

Without it, weight loss can come at the expense of strength, function, and overall health, which is not the outcome we want for you.

  • We make sure you are getting the nutrients your body needs, even when your appetite is reduced.

When you are eating less, it becomes much harder to meet your requirements for essential nutrients like protein, fibre, vitamins, and minerals.

Over time, this can impact your energy, mood, digestion, immunity, and overall wellbeing and may even affect how well you tolerate the medication.

We help you make every mouthful count, so your body is properly nourished throughout the process.

  • We help you create realistic, sustainable eating patterns and routines that work in your real life.

Because while medication can reduce appetite, it does not teach you how to eat, plan, or manage real-world situations like busy days, stress, social events or holidays.

This is your opportunity to reset patterns, build confidence with food, and create habits that will support you long after the medication.

  • Whether you continue medication or stop, we help you maintain your progress and minimise the risk of regain.

Many people will come off these medications at some point. Without the right support, appetite can return quickly, and weight regain is common.

We help you put the right structure in place, so you feel prepared, in control, and able to maintain your results as best as possible.

Our team are here to support alongside you every step of the way

We see medication as a tool, not the solution on its own. For many people, it creates a window of opportunity to reset patterns, reduce overwhelm around food, and make positive changes feel more achievable. We help you make the most of that opportunity.

Our role is to support your nutrition, habits, and lifestyle so you can get the best possible outcome from your treatment.

At findWellness, we do not prescribe or adjust medication. That remains the role of your GP or specialist.
