BBQ Cauliflower

BBQ Cauliflower

With cauliflower seeming to be one of the only affordable veggies at the moment, I decided to give these ‘steaks’ a whirl.
Ingredients:

  • 1 large cauliflower

  • 2tbsp of olive oil

  • 1 lemon

  • 1 clove of garlic

  • Salt and pepper

  • Parsley to serve

Optional - Feta whip to top:

  • 50g feta

  • 3-4 tbsp milk

How to make:

  1. Simply cut the cauliflower down the middle to make 2 large steaks, then cut the other large florets in half so they have a flat base.

  2. Mixed olive oil with the juice/zest of a lemon, along with a crushed clove of garlic, brush over the cauliflower and season with salt and pepper.

  3. Grill on the BBQ, or pop in the oven at 200degrees for about 15-20mins depending on the thickness.

  4. Sprinkle with chopped parsley to serve.

  5. If making the feta whip, combine feta and milk in a mug and mix up until creamy.

These cauliflower steaks were perfect alongside beef steaks, potatoes and mushrooms.

Sure to be a Summer favourite as we use the BBQ more often!
